Question: How do you get your mobility scooter to slide out of a horsebox?
Answer: Slide it out on Widney slides
A major horsebox manufacturer has used Widney slides on a sliding platform for storing a mobility scooter in a new horsebox.
The application worked so well that they are now developing a sliding solution for generator sets. A generator set can weigh as much as 350kgs and Widney's 6000 series rated at 600kgs will adequately cope with this load.
The new sliding tray is a flexible solution and offers health and safety benefits not currently achievable when using a forklift truck to dismount the generator set.
