Widney 6000 Series Heavy Duty Slide

Long term Widney customer Mallaghan Engineering, who build airport ground support equipment, are in the process of testing a new lifting platform to be used at a major international airport in the USA.

The sliding solution for the lifting platform uses the Widney 6000 series heavy duty slide to support 4 slide out platforms along the bed of the lift.

Testing is going well and the prototype unit is being shipped to Atlanta shortly.

The 6000 series slide has been used previously in similar applications for aircraft catering platforms.
